Method and sources
The calculator uses calendar dates in UTC internally, so daylight-saving clock changes do not add or remove a day. Your selected workweek is checked first, then extra days off and Danish holidays. Overlapping exclusions count only once.
The count can include or exclude either endpoint. Adding working days never counts the start date. Adding zero returns that same date even if it is a non-working day.
Danish public holidays
New Year’s Day, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Monday, Ascension Day, Whit Sunday and Monday, and Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Movable dates are computed from Gregorian Easter. Sundays are already excluded under a Monday–Friday workweek.
Great Prayer Day is included before 2024 only. 1 May, Constitution Day (5 June), 24 December and 31 December are optional workplace days off, not public holidays.
