Working days in Denmark
Use the count tab for a period, or add working days to find a target date. Pick the days you normally work and check whether Danish holidays apply.
Worked example
1–7 April 2026 has seven calendar days, but only two working days under a Monday–Friday schedule with Danish holidays excluded: 1 April and 7 April. Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter weekend and Easter Monday are excluded.
Optional days off
1 May, 5 June, 24 December and 31 December are not Danish public holidays. Include them only if your own workplace treats them as days off.
Adding and subtracting
Adding one working day to 1 April 2026 returns 7 April under the same settings. Use a negative number to count backwards. The start date is not counted when adding.
For contract and legal deadlines, check the actual rule before relying on a workday count.
